The drawings in this book are inspired from beautiful mandalas found in many different religious and cultural traditions. The meaning of mandala comes from Sanskrit meaning "circle”. Mandalas offer balancing visual elements, symbolizing unity and harmony. To create a concentric theme I selected a center point then built them out with radial lines and small shapes to make this book “Mandala Adventure”. A different approach was used compared to other mandala coloring books. Each design covers the whole page to give a new feel (symmetrical designs with an asymmetrical placements on the page) and offers up the whole page for coloring, instead of just a circle centered on every page. My friend, who I got this for, is LOVING her "second childhood" (she hasn't finished her first yet, I told her) by playing with Legos (that she bought on Amazon, LOL!), and now coloring books. I got several of these books for her and she has gone crazy with them, buying markers and colored pencils (she already had her Crayolas) to work on these, making photocopies of the pages so she could color them up in different ways - and she's got me doing it now, haha! They are truly great ways to explore colors and what you can do with them - and I am glad she is happily coloring away. I highly recommend these books to anyone who wishes to expand their horizons by finding out where their inner child lives - you do NOT have to be a youngster to enjoy these books - she is 62! :D Excellent books, the whole Mandala set!Product details

Wonderful full page drawings however can't remove pages for copies nor put book into copier without loosing part of drawing. So just coloring in book and enjoying it.
After buying several of these books, I ordered this one with low hopes. But it is exactly what I wanted. Big designs, that cover the whole page. Although the lines could of been a little darker, One can ask for 100 perfection...
All of Kendall Bohn's coloring books are interesting and fun to color. I prefer to use the colored pencils to allow for color shading. Really enjoy Mr Bohn's color instruction in each book.
I bought this for use in embroidery patterns. But it is also going to be utilized for some intense coloring time.
Love this book! Lots of different patterns that make it easy to "get lost" in coloring and forget about my chronic pain for a few hours when I'm distracted coloring! Glad I ordered this book!
I enjoyed this book to the highest degree. I use these books as emotional relaxation techniques. I color the pages using markers of all kinds. Usually I use the finest tips I can find. If anyone can lead me to any extra tine tips for the really small areas, that would be great at I like to us markers. Markers bring out the designs better than just crayons or pencils. I also use them for meditation time. I can spend hours coloring a single page. Before I know it, I have spent 8-10 hours on a page.
Happy coloring! Copy a page for yourself and color them on different days, several days apart. You will be amazed at how different the pages are.
